Following Friday’s draw, Greece’s Olympiacos football club will face England’s Wolves for the round of 16 in the Europa League.

The Wolverhampton Wanderers, as the West Midlands club is officially named, beat Spain’s Espanyol in the round of 32, while Olympiacos showed an impressive performance knocking Arsenal out of the League on Thursday night.

Thus the two clubs secured a place in the round of 16.

The first leg of the Greco-English fight will take place at Piraeus’ Karaiskakis Stadium on Thursday, March 12, before the second leg at Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton on Thursday, March 19.

The Europa League is the second-tier competition of European football, ranking below the UEFA Champions League.
